D3 did not only do heart experiments, but YES we had a Hearty Food Festival including Stir Fry Heart & Roast Heart The classroom was transformed from science lab, to kitchen, to dinning room. D3 worked together to prepare and cook the food, set up and clean up, and don't forget eat up. It was amazing that 23 out of 27 D3 kids ate their portion of heart for lunch, with an amazing 23 saying that they would eat it again!
D3 know the importance of healthy eating, regular exercise and love/kindness are all good for our hearts.
I would like to Thank Mrs Martin, Mrs Arrowsmith and Mrs Taylor for all their support with our D3 Dream Team Heart Day. We could not have done it with out you :+)
